Jay

Jay is a 5 x 5 x .5 inch original mixed media painting on heart-shaped wood panel. Jay loves listening to and playing all the instruments in his nest! A gentle and generous soul who can fix anything, Jay reminds you to trust yourself.  You have everything you need to be a great success! (This bird is a Gray Jay.)

Mixed media elements include sheet music, handmade paper and other snippets of papers from my travels.  

Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with a small Command hanger for easy non-damaging hanging on the wall without a frame. The piece will lie flat as there are also cork spacers for balance on the back of the heart.

This piece is part of my "Sweethearts" series of 12 heart-shaped paintings just in time for Valentine's Day 2023.
