I Dream in Flowers

"I Dream in Flowers" is a 6x12x1.5 inch mixed media painting on canvas. This piece is part of my seasonal palette collection, and it reflects the bright, clear colors and sentiments of Spring! A sweet hummingbird and orange-sherbet peony kiss the day hello while an orange and a peppermint-stick zinnia sway nearby in the morning garden. The bit of text on the left side reads "This is a love note. It is filled with love & it is a note." 

Lots of mixed media papers create the layering in this piece including a  vintage advertisement from a French flea market, handmade mono printed papers, handmade Nepalese paper and pink glitter paper.

Signed, titled and wired on reverse and ready to hang on the wall without a frame.
