We are a Family

"We are a Family" is the next painting in my Little Yellow Bird collection.  There is a new addition to the family, and they are off for their maiden flight! This piece measures 24x24x1.75" and is mixed media on canvas. The flowers included are dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, daisies and a yellow sunflower. The colors are rich and autumnal warm blooms on a teal background.  Mixed media elements include Nepalese handmade papers, pages from a fairy tale, and scraps from my travels to Paris and. I just adored working with these beautiful colors and bringing the birds' love story to life.
