Beautiful Day

"Beautiful Day" is an 8x8x1 inch original mixed media painting on cradled wood panel. Wired to hang without a frame and signed and titled on reverse.  Sides are painted black.

This painting is inspired by the 2000 top hit song titled, "Beautiful Day" by U2.

It was such a joy to create this painting on location on the shores of Lake Michigan this summer. I based it on the flora and fauna of the surrounding lake area & it includes the yellow wildflowers and thistle that popped up along the trail to the beach.  Thank you, U2 for the gorgeous lyrics like:
