One-on-One Virtual Session with Cathy Nichols | $150/hour

Sometimes you don’t need another course—you need an artist in your corner.

These private one-on-one Zoom sessions are designed around you, your artwork, and where you’d like to go next. Whether you want hands-on help with a painting, guidance developing your own artistic voice, or practical advice about building an art business, we’ll spend the hour focused entirely on your questions and goals.

Painting & Mixed Media Coaching

Bring a painting in progress, a technique you’d like to explore, or simply an area where you feel stuck. We can paint together, troubleshoot a piece, experiment with color and composition, or work on developing a looser, more expressive approach.

Topics might include color mixing and palette choices, acrylic painting and mixed media techniques, florals and birds, composition, layering and collage, finding your artistic style, working through a painting that isn't quite coming together, or planning a new series of work.

Art Business Coaching

If your questions are less about the canvas and more about making a living as an artist, we can use our session for business coaching instead.

With more than 25 years as a working artist—and experience creating online courses, memberships, art products, licensing, retreats, social media content, and an online art business—I’m happy to share what I’ve learned and help you think through your own next steps.

We might talk about selling your artwork online, pricing your work, developing classes or workshops, creating products from your art, building an audience, email marketing and social media, creating multiple income streams, or deciding where to focus your time and energy.

Or we can combine the two! Your hour is yours.

How It Works

Private sessions are $225 for one hour and take place virtually via Zoom or FaceTime. After purchasing, you’ll receive information about scheduling your session and can let me know what you’d most like to work on so we can make the most of our time together.

Come with questions, paintings, ideas, works-in-progress—or even a big creative mess you’re trying to untangle.
