Golden Hour

"Golden Hour" is a 12x12x.75 inch Mixed Media Painting on cradled canvas.

Sunflowers in various stages of their life cycles -- from seed heads to full bloom - come together in this still life. A lemon goldfinch adds his brightness to the gathering. Flowers pictured include Teddy Bear sunflowers, Sun Spot Dwarf sunflowers and Crème Soleil sunflowers (pictured in the photo). 

Mixed media elements include sheet music and pages from a vintage french novel. The sides are painted in yellow ochre to match the front, and the back is fitted with hardware to hang without a frame. Signed and titled on reverse.
