Sunshine Wine
"Sunshine Wine" is a 9x12x2 inch acrylic painting on deep cradled canvas
Within the mixed media layers of this painting is sheet music to the song, "Sunshine Wine," and though the music is mostly painted over, I continued to use the lyrics of the song for inspiration, transforming this still life of peonies and hummingbirds that reminded me of the song. Here are some of my favorite lyrics:

Mixed media elements include sheet music, bits of paper from my travels, handmade mono prints, tissue paper and glitter.
