When I was a child, my grandma Rose called me her "Sunshine Girl," and this painting is inspired by her love and the way that it always made me feel special. She was filled with sunshine as well. Sometimes, in our daily struggles to be 'successful.' we forget that by radiating our light to others, we have already achieved the greatest success possible. I'm so happy to share this piece with you, and I hope that it always reminds you of your value.

Flowers in this painting include a big, pink dahlia and a wild magenta and yellow zinnia topped by a little goldfinch.
Mixed media elements include handmade monoprints, sheet music, handmade Nepalese paper and old book pages. The sides are painted in sienna, and the back is fitted with hardware to hang without a frame. Signed and titled on reverse.
