"Songkeeper" is a 4x6x2 inch Painting on deep cradled canvas.
A little song sparrow sits atop a gold zinnia. She gathers the songs of ordinary joys, old friendships, small kindnesses, and hopes not yet realized. Nothing beautiful is ever too small for her to remember.
Mixed media elements include handmade monoprints, printed tissue paper, and sheet music.
The sides are painted in teal green to match the front, and the back is fitted with hardware to hang without a frame. Signed and titled on reverse.
