My Happiness is a 10x20x1.5 Mixed Media Painting on gallery-wrapped canvas inspired by the 1948 hit song with lyrics written by Betty Peterson Blasco and performed by many artists that year, most notably, Ella Fitzgerald.
Two sweet lovebirds sit on a branch amid a wild array of pink sunflowers, orange zinnias and turquoise Mexican sunflowers. Mixed media include handmade and nepalese papers, monoprints, a map of Paris, vintage player piano paper and glitter!
Some lyrics I was thinking of when creating the sweet lovebirds in this piece:
