Love Note to the Muses
Love Note to the Muses is a12x1.75 inches mixed media painting on canvas.
One of our greatest love stories is between ourselves and this incredible, life-affirming force of creativity that resides in each of us. "Love Note to the Muses" is a small thank you note the people and places who have inspired me: Paris, female artists from the past, a quote from Winnie-the-Pooh, music, and, of course beautiful, colorful birds, butterflies and flowers!

Flowers include zinnias, daisies and a peony (three of my favorites!!) and Frida Kahlo looks on with flowers in her hair.
Mixed media elements include pages from a French romance novel, handmade Nepalese paper and other snippets of papers from my travels.
Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with wire to hang on the wall without a frame.
