Sparkler

"Sparkler" is a 12x12x.75 inch Painting on cradled canvas.

Pincushion flowers, sea holly and billy buttons burst from the canvas like fireworks. Sparkler is a celebration of those who bring their own kind of light—the ones with a little extra color, a little extra magic, and a way of making the world around them feel more alive.  

Mixed media elements include handmade monoprints, glitter (of course!), sheet music, and pages from a french novel.

The sides are painted in midnight blue to match the front, and the back is fitted with hardware to hang without a frame. Signed and titled on reverse.
