Nocturne

Nocturne  is a12x1.75 inches mixed media painting on canvas. It is a cold, moonlit winter night in frosty blues, and I was listening to Silent Night as I painted this piece, so it has a holiday vibe to it! :) The colors are all blues -- even the neutral-appearing flowers are a very pale blue-green-gray, with tiny touches of iridescent gold on the smaller bird's wings.  Mixed media elements include pages from a French romance novel, handmade Nepalese paper and other snippets of papers from my travels.  Flowers include poppies and lotus flowers. 

 Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with wire to hang on the wall without a frame.
