My Sunny Place

"My Sunny Place" is an 8x10x3/4 inch acrylic painting on cradled wood panel. 

This painting is part of my new mini series for Mother's Day and it is inspired by a gift from my daughter -- a music box that plays 'you are my sunshine.' It always makes me happy to think that mothers, like these flowers and their butterfly, provide a sunny place for children to rest before spreading their wings.

Mixed media painting with bits of paper from my travels and handmade mono prints.

Fitted with wire, and signed and title don reverse. Sides are painted to match the front. Ready to hang on the wall without a frame!
