Come Fly With Me

Come Fly With Me is a 12x12x .75 inch original mixed media painting on canvas. This piece continues my story of the little yellow bird (who first appeared in She Shines and then I've Got a Crush on You). In this piece, she and her sweetheart take a ride through the garden at night sailing across a patch of moonlit zinnias. Mixed media elements include pages from a French romance novel, pages from a gardening dictionary, handmade Nepalese paper and snippets of paper collected from my trip to Paris in 2022.

Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with wire to hang on the wall without a frame.
