Bring on the Sun

Bring on the Sun  is a12x1.75 inches mixed media painting on canvas. This painting is my antidote to the long cold winter we've been having this year. I'm dreaming of warm, sun-kissed days, and this little goldfinch and sunflower are feeling the same way! Colors include gray-turquoise, yellow, peach and magenta, and the flowers are sunflowers, peonies and a sweet miniature zinnia as well as a few daisies.  A spring garden to ward off the winter chill! Mixed media elements include pages from a French romance novel, handmade Nepalese paper and other snippets of papers from my travels.  

 Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with wire to hang on the wall without a frame.
