Twin Souls

Twin Souls is a 5 x 5 x .5 inch original mixed media painting on heart-shaped wood panel.  These two hummingbirds have loved one another for a long time. They are happy to share their favorite zinnia flower and all the richness of their lives.

Mixed media elements include pages from a French romance novel, handmade paper and other snippets of papers from my travels.  

Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with a small Command hanger for easy non-damaging hanging on the wall without a frame. The piece will lie flat as there are also cork spacers for balance on the back of the heart.

This piece is part of my "Sweethearts" series of 12 heart-shaped paintings just in time for Valentine's Day 2023.
