"Today I am Shining" is a 9x12x2 inch mixed media acrylic painting on 3/4"cradled canvas
Five poppies reach toward the light on a summer day, drawing in sun-tipped hummingbirds to share in the sweetness. I painted these lovely poppies from the live blooms pictured by their side in my photos, and I was so inspired by their colors!!
The quote on the bottom left of the painting reads, "Practice love until you remember that you are love."
Mixed media elements include many, many handmade monoprints, cut up abstract 'free-paintings' on paper as well as napkins and tissue paper.
