"Sweet Dreams of Summer"

"Sweet Dreams of Summer" is a 12x12x1.5 Mixed Media Painting on canvas and the second in my Coming Home series.

Flowers in this painting include zinnias, ranunculus, a peony and an array of wildflowers.  This summer cottage hideaway is perched on a hill overlooking a bay with tiny sailboats floating on the cool water below. 

Mixed media elements include hand-printed mono prints, pages from a French romance novel, sheet music, a very uplifting quote about finding beauty in the everyday and an array of other papers.

Definitely a place I would love to live myself!!
