Summer in Monet's Garden

Summer in Monet's Garden is a 24x24 inch original mixed media painting on canvas.  In the summer, Monet's gardens at Giverny come alive with all of the colors he intended for his flower palette.  This painting captures the cascade of sun-kissed peonies, zinnies, poppies, phlox, rudbeckia, and sunflowers that bloom in Monet's gardens from June- August.  Mixed media elements include handmade papers, nepalese papers, pages from a fairy tale, and a few tidbits from my trip to Paris this past winter. 

Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with wire to hang on the wall without a frame.
