You Make Everything Brighter

"You Make Everything Brighter" is a 9x12x3/4 inch mixed media acrylic painting on cradled canvas.

I recently painted this piece and realized that my 19-year-old daughter (Annabelle Rivot) had created a sheet of beautiful mixed media paper on the easel alongside me from my leftover paint colors as I was painting (you can see her paper in the 2nd photo (before I added it in)! When I discovered what she's created, I realized that the original painting of roses needed a touch of her work mixed in, too. So I revised the piece and mixed her handmade paper into the vase! Now it is a true mother-daughter collaboration -- just in time for Mother's Day!

Mixed media elements include handmade freepainting paper and monoprints that are used to form the vase and some of the leaves and little bits within the painting.

Fitted with wire, and signed and title don reverse. Sides are painted on the sides in pale pinky-lavender.   Ready to hang on the wall without a frame! Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity listing you as the original buyer.
