Two hummingbirds flit through a garden at sunset on Winter Solstice! I finished this piece on December 21, Winter Solstice, and it is a wish for light and renewal to return to Asheville and to all of our lives as we pass through this junction and move toward longer, brighter days.

Mixed media elements include handmade monoprints, sheet music, handmade Nepalese paper and vintage book pages.
