Light Seekers

"Light Seekers" is a 24 x 12x 2 Mixed Media Painting on canvas.  (a larger canvas for me!)

A bevvy of sunflowers and zinnias reach ever upward, finding the cracks where the light gets in so that they can bloom in all their colors. Two hummingbirds gather to cheer them on their journey. This painting is part of my 'sweet messages' series, and the quote on the top right corner reads: 

A Small Reminder:  The world needs you to show up today. You are powerful, you are valuable, and what you believe changes the world.

Mixed media elements include handmade monoprints, sheet music, handmade Nepalese paper and old book pages.  The sides are painted in teal and the back is fitted with hardware to hang easily on the wall without a frame. Signed and titled on reverse.
