I Feel Pretty

I Feel Pretty  is a 12x12x .75 inch original mixed media painting on canvas. This piece continues my story of the little yellow bird (who first appeared in She Shines, I've Got a Crush on You. and Come Fly With Me). In this piece, she is getting ready for a night out and wearing a new "dress" -- so I've fancied up her feathers by lengthening them, painting them black and adding a flower "tattoo." She feels good and has a happy blush to her cheeks! 

Mixed media elements include pages from a French romance novel, pages from a gardening dictionary, handmade Nepalese paper and snippets of paper collected from my trip to Paris in 2022.

Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with wire to hang on the wall without a frame.
