Goldfinch - Joy

The bright and cheerful goldfinch has long symbolized joy and a lightness of spirit. In many traditions, this bird is seen as a reminder to stay close to what brings you warmth and genuine happiness. Surrounded here by radiant sunflowers and zinnias—flowers that have always felt like happiness to me—this painting celebrates the kind of joy that grows like a garden tended with love.

Mixed media elements include old book pages and handmade mono prints.

Signed and titled on reverse and fitted with wire for easy hanging without a frame.
