Best Day of My Life

"Best Day of My Life" is an 11x14 x3/4 inch mixed media acrylic painting on cradled wood panel. 

I painted this piece on my birthday, and it is filled with joyful energy. It was a fantastic day that felt like bright, colorful blooms in my favorite colors!!

Layers include bits of paper from my travels and handmade monoprints. Flowers are zinnias, hot pink poppies and a purple peony. A tiny hummingbird swoops across the sky getting in on the party.

Fitted with wire, and signed and titled on reverse. Sides are painted to match the front. Ready to hang on the wall without a frame!
