"Shine" is my original beeswax encaustic painting on 1" cradled wood panel. Created with multiple layers of fused, pigmented beeswax. The layers are then carved and incised for a highly detailed, line-drawn effect embedded in the wax in my signature style.
"Shine" measures 8x8x1 inches and is signed and hung with a wire on reverse. Ready to hang on the wall. The cradled effect adds an dramatic impact to any setting. The little bird is a Starling. The colors are turquoise, yellow, purple, pink, indigo and various greens.
