Autumn in Monet's Garden
Autumn in Monet's Garden is a 11x14x 2 inch original mixed media painting on canvas and the second piece in my series inspired by Monet's gardens at Giverny, France. The flowers painted here are the real blooms which grown every autumn in this spectacular garden: dahlias, asters, anemones and bright yellow rudbeckia. The bird featured is a "Nonpareil" - in English known as a painted bunting. Mixed media elements include mementos from my trip to Paris in 2022, strips of tiny glitter paper, handmade Nepalese paper and my own hand-painted papers.
Signed & titled on reverse and fitted with wire to hang on the wall without a frame.
